I hear 'ya loud & clear, Tom G. My #1 pet peeve is the misuse of the
term "Limousine" Ouch!! The LAST honest-to-goodness Limousine was
the 1988 Cadillac, of which a mere 99 were made. They were the last
limousines made on a factory assembly line. All "so-called"
Limousines made since, leave the factory as a commonplace 4-door
sedan. Then go to an outside aftermarket convertor who procedes to
cut the car in half, lengthten the chassis & body & doors and make it
any variety of different lengths, thereby creating what is actually a
STRETCHED SEDAN and in no way a Limousine! Yet, the entire world
calls them LIMOUSINES. Similiar to calling an orange, a grapefruit!
Annoying, VERY annoying!
