I was looking at Toms production pics. And he has a preproduction
pic of a car with the door open and window up.

It appears that there is no frame around the door's window. So if
this was taken before they attemped any modifications then I guess
Ford shipped ttop/vert doors to asc attached to the car.
That may explain that black thing at the top of the window which
probably kept the glass from rattling.
Now this begs another question...if guys were out walking the parking
lot at Ford grabbing cars for an asc order...they would have had to
swap doors before sending them to asc....and if they swapped doors,
would they have to get the same color door?
Or am I crazy?
