Sandy, in my opinion they are buying the name and the
"look". Probably not that far from the reason people
bought ASC/McLaren Coupes.
At least in the case of the ASC's there was
potentially a performance advantage over the top
Mustang or Capri. With the Saleen (and Roush) base
cars the advantage goes to the Cobra.
