Speaking as an 85 Vert owner, one that has seen many miles, I have seen the underside of these tonneau covers, and it's not pretty. ASC used the same liquid nails type adhesive discussed several days ago to mount these plastic covers on the metal tonneau. Mine looked identical to this blue car (but beige), and all of the bubbling was due to the liquid nails adhesive, very "crappily" squirted all over the tonneau. This stuff was hard as a rock, and took several hours to remove. On the soft plastic, that sees a good amount of sun, it is very easy to see these bubbles from down under.
As for the side plaque....my 85 has the same plaque minus the border. I looked through all of my pics(hundreds, maybe thousands) and all of the 85 verts had this plaque. In fact, in comparing my pics of Stangs and 86 verts, I would venture to say the newer plaques look smaller. So, if any 86 vert owners or Mustang owners want to measure the size of their plaque, please share. I will measure mine this weekend and we can compare.
