faster?
I was wondering if anyone knew if the 87 mclaren was faster than a same year gt or lx. I purchased one new and I seemed to be able to beat the both of them "in a straight line" whenever I raced them. I was wondering if this was due to a weight reduction because of no back seat,a very light roof "no glass" and a non mechanical convertible system,or maybe just a weight distribution change. Anyway it seemed to me if I could get off the line without too much burn I would win almost every time. I have since modified different things on the car but kept the stock look and find launching the car can be a real balancing act. too much tirespin and I'm dead
