Do you know, did the '84 Coupes also have the separate buck tag on the radiator support like the '85 & '86 cars did? http://public.fotki.com/ascmclaren/ascmclaren_capris/ascmclaren_capri/mclare n_plate.html If so, he could look to see if it has this tell tale tag and determine for sure whether it is a real one or not.

I cn tell you that they were all sold in and around Michigan, Minnisota & Wisconsin area. They did NOT have SVO seats. They can be readily told by their "NASA-Type" indented dual hood scoops, replacing the familiar hood louvers. The odds of ever finding a 1/2 decent one are very, very slim.
