Ok, I have been looking into the buck tag code "HB" some more and it got me thinking. I dug out my "History 999" report out for my 1985 Cougar XR-7 and they list one the options as "Heated Backlight", aka..rear defrost. Today a rear defrosting window is pretty much standard equipment in probably any new car, but back when our cars were built it was an option, (required option in a couple of states). Since FLM officially named this a Heated Backlight, and being a major exterior building block of the car I do believe that this is what the "HB" stands for on the tag.
This is of course my own opinion and I still have no real proof of this so I'll just say it's still circumstantial evidence for my case. :-)
