The 1986 Mercury Capri ascMcLaren 5.0SC 2-Seat Roadster did NOT come
with any decals ! In the grille (driver's side - off center lower
bar) was a chromed plastic nameplate that said:- ascMcLaren. It had
a sticky-back and simply pressed onto the existing "mercury"
nameplate. At the rear on the deck-lid turndown, just above the
taillamp on the passenger's side another plastic chrome plated emblem
that said: 5.0SC
That was the extent of identfication on your car. The decals were on
the COUPE. On the passenger side (only) between the door opening &
the rear wheel well cut-out was the LIMITED EDITION plate. All of
these can be purchased at:
