You are the supreme authority on these cars. I thought the code for
the GPIV cars was D32, but in any case, all I really wanted to know
was if the GPIV cars came with the light covers. The car that I found
is indeed a real GPIV according to the registry, but like I said, I
know they didn't come with the McLaren nose, but rather an RS nose.
However, the owner of this car did indeed put a McLaren lower on it.
I realize that this is not factory. I did get the nose off of the
car, since I needed one for my 86 Coupe(110). I noticed that the
headlight bezels had the holes on top for the light covers, and just
wondered if the owner put the light covers on as well as the lower
nose. Also, a buddy of mine got the foglights out of the car, and
they were just the regular old marchals, like you said. So I guess
this guy ran out of money after getting the lower nose and front and
rear light covers(if not factory for the Motorsport cars).

In regards to restoring a GPIV, I am not. I am restoring my 86 Coupe
that I got from Blumclaren, and thought I hit it big when I found a
nose with the McLaren lower on it. The lower is pretty much shot, and
in my eyes useless. So I did end up getting a new nose from Hank
along with a mess of other things. Thanks for your help.

p.s. What is the code for the GPIV cars? Where did I get D32 from? I
may have made that up!?!?!
