D32 is the code for 1984-1990 asc/McLaren Hatchbacks AND 2-Seat
Roadsters! 1985 Mercury Capri 5.0 Hatchback Coupes ** WITH ** the
asc/McLaren APPEARANCE PACKAGE never had assigned to them any
specific code to denote their trip to Autry Avenue in Livonia,
Michigan (location of asc/McLaren at the time). As I said, they were
randomly plucked RS Capri(s) in either Oxford White OR Silver
Metallic right off the assemby line. Nationwide dealers who had
ORIGINALLY ordered these units, never got them, as they were
diverted to asc/McLaren.
On a prior post, I omitted 2 items these cars ALSO got at asc:-
* Rear Under Bumper Air Valance Panel with Exhaust Cut-outs
* asc/McLaren (Made by Campignolio of Italy) {BBS Style} Wheels in
Anthracite

Proof that they were NOT made BY FoMoCo UNDER a code D32 can be found
in that firstly they carry the STANDARD interior of Red-Orange seat
welting (piping). This, on a D32 Spec car was changed to matching
grey piping, so as NOT to visually clash with the Popsicle Orange
exterior Decals & Striping. (Red Piping/Orange Striping).....YEECH!
Further proff can be found that the body built tag (or properly
called (Body Buck Tag) is lacking the D32 code reversed stamped into
it along with all of the other options on the car.

I hope you'll do #110 right. It's had many owners. (I think you are
#4). #110 deserves the best, as it's a full-packaged car, I believe
with power Door Locks too! (BTW, Mine's # 109.) 110 is the 4th from
the final one!!! ~ I'm the 5th from the final one.
