I would like some input from other McLaren enthusiasts on the value
of my car. I am toying with idea of selling it just because I do not
have much time for it. I would like to see it go to a fellow
enthusiast though. Keep in mind it would have to be a real good
price for me to part with it. It is an 84' convertible. Number 10
to be exact. Muscat red with the tan interior. Does not have the
original radio (anyone have one correct for this car?) and needs the
air recharged. Minor tear in the seam of the drivers seat. And a
minor tear in the drivers door panel. I have both door panels (same
color) out of a wrecked 86' though that will go with it of course.
Excellent shape other than that with around 58,000 miles on it. I
believe I am the third owner but I know Sandy has the history on this
car. The car has the original top in great shape but there is one
part of the frame that needs to be spot welded. Tires will need to
be replaced soon. I will make all these repairs though over time.
Anyway sorry for the long post but obviously due to the rarity of
this car I do not have much to compare it too. Again if anyway
desperatly wants this car it can be available. If not your input is
still valued and I will keep enjoying it. Any good hints for good
insurance that will cover the real value? Please feel free to email
me anytime even if it is just to shoot the sh*t.
