Well, some Vins wouldn't be slotted for any dealer at all, would they? Maybe some Capris with the E just got yanked at the last minute for ASC. I thought car companies built some cars and just distributed them without having specific dealer orders. I often hear dealers say that they "had to take at least one of this model" from the car maker even if they didn't want it. Maybe Ford had extra Capris that no dealers wanted and just sent them to ASC when they fit the bill.
