Nope! Lines like: "OVERSTOCKED" "FORCED TO TAKE EXTRA CARS" "FACTORY CLEARANCE" are all hype to hook-in buyers. Every single car on any dealer's lot was in fact ORDERED by him, bar none!! Likewise, NOT ONE CAR on his lot, was NOT ordered by him. Cars are built under 1 of 3 codes:- A= Dealer Inventory unit B= Sold Unit, Retail Customer waiting C= Sold Unit, Fleet Customer waiting.
Factories do NOT build "unwanted" cars, just to keep the presses going, as is said. Storage problems, for one.
