Mike,
Where did you get the reproduction coil harness?
It looks very original.
BTW, I really must commend you also on your website, I usually look at it a
few times a week to see if there are any updates.
Makes the slow days at work go a little quicker. :)
I also can relate a little to how much money you have put into your car. I
did the same thing to my '85 Cougar XR-7 about 8 years ago.
I practically rebuilt the car with just about all of the NOS parts that I
could find at the time and now the car looks like new. It was very expensive
and I probably have 5 times the money in the car than it is worth but I
don't care because it was worth it to me and I will never sell it anyway. :)
In case you haven't already done this, one thing that I would recommend you
do if the budget allows it, is to buy more than one of something that is a
frequently used item.
On my Cougar I purchased extra keyless entry pad & door lock switches
because over time the printing gets worn off from pushing the buttons and it
looses the "new" factor.
I plan on completely redoing my EuroCoupe, but with the current duties of
being married, buying a house, raising a child, etc... it is going to take
me a lot longer than it did with the Cougar. Plus the lack of "hobby money"
too. :(
