It's true & that is why I wrote what I wrote a few posts ago. It's
just basic common sence. Most would-be car thiefs carry a long screw
driver, a lock puncher or puller and a box cutter. If you have an
auto lok brake club they are NOT getting your car, period. The
Steering wheel Club is just a slow-me-down deterrant for the younger
set of punks. You MUST put on the yellow, red & orange shower cap
style steering wheel cover to ALERT them to what they cannot see -
that being the auto lok brake club. If they want into the
convertible, they will naturally first try the door handle, if it
opens there is NO NEED for the box cutter. So, they steal the
stereo......doubtful these days....If you have the OEM, as I do, it's
a Am/Fm-Stereo with cassette. Not in all that much demand these
days, when they are out looking for BMWs hi lines with CD, MP3,
Cassette and more...... So, what's the worst you're gonna lose? Your
Stereo. Lock the doors and you'll need a roof and all the
aggravation that goes along with that! I have seen very very few
replacement tops on our cars that fit as well as the original one!
