hmm...is this a real mclaren??

I've put up an album of the 88 I'm about to buy under "jeremy's 88".
I've never seen it in person, but only the pics... I've noticed
there's no "limited edition" badge on the dash in front of the
passengers side, and there's no "logo deleted" horn cover on the
steering wheel". I've noticed some of the cars I've seen have them,
some don't... please feel free to weigh in on the situation and why
these things may differ from car to car...
