My wife said they spoke this afternoon. She has an appointment at a Mercury dealer for this Thursday. I'll let you know, as soon as I know. I've seen the car and it's probably one of the 20 nicest Capris left in the country. 1 small door ding, no scratchs, perfect cloth seats, slightly worn rugs only on driver side (hi heels) ~ near mint condition. Dealer serviced and well care for. Garaged, no winters out and the Pop Up Sun Roof does NOT leak! PW PDL A/C Speed & Tilt, bright red over charcoal lower, bottle cap opener wheels, 2nd set tires, am fm cassette, sun roof. Car is an automatic 5.0L. Never beat upon. Not 4-Sale, she really like it. I forgot exactly what it is that 'goes' on them, but I think it was some kind of o ring. The fuel spurts out on to the engine block... and evaporates rapidly because of the heat of the engine and manifold... so it leaves little evidence behind except the strong vapor smell.
