Re: Well, some progress....

Additionally, in 1986 I ordered a new Lincoln Mark VII Base Model for
my wife for our 5th wedding anniversary. I ordered it in Special
Order Factory applied piant. In 1987 (Summertime) I took it to a
local car-show to display. The powers that be would not believe that
it was factory done, until I produced the original window sticker &
proved it was right on there, and then they believed it. They
insisted that my car be in the "Modified Group" ~ so, of course, I
stood no chance! There I sat, next to chromed engine Corvettes, and
extreme 440 6-Pac 'Cudas and hairy Mustangs with a bone stock brand
new Mark VII, painted 1959 Thunderbird "Flamingo
Pink" ! 'Ya.....Modified !
