I hit the send button too fast, so I'll start again.
I always assumed that HB is for HatchBack, but after some looking that
doesn't make sense because that is what the "61D" means.
This "HB" code appears in the same location on a Mustang buck tag and the
Mustang GT Registry also does not know what that code means but their
suspicion is that it possibly could be a rear defroster code.
Thanks for the info on my car Sandy, I had gotten most of it from you back
when I found the car sitting on a used car lot and called you to confirm
what it was before I bought it. What I didn't have were the recieving &
shipping dates or the production line figures of how many Capri's were built
after mine, that's some pretty neat info.
