I probably will eventually. I want to see the pics of this stuff
when this guy gets his car painted here this week.
Problem is, I don't know how much better it will be for "touch up"
work.
Dabbing the 33717 paint that you already have onto your small area
on the driver's side trim probably produces a satin-like effect
anyways.
If you take "satin" (or flat) spray paint and brush it on a surface,
it will be more glossy than if you spray it on. If you spray a
satin paint on EXTREMELY THICK you can achieve a very glossy
appearance too. You can also take a GLOSSY paint and on a dry day,
hold the can far away (so the paint starts drying in mid flight) and
achieve a Satin or "Matte" effect.
But sure, if I get some made up, I'll be glad to send you a pint. I
don't know if you'll need to mix the reducer or dcx61 in before
touching up or not.
