Sandy,
There was a rolling change on 1985 cars equipped with the CFI 302 V-8.
Early cars received the carry-over engine & exhaust from 1984 rated at 160
hp, these cars would come equipped with the single exhaust exiting on the
driver side with a dual chrome tip.
Late cars were upgraded to 180 hp and these cars received the "pseudo-dual"
exhaust with the single into the y-pipe followed by two mufflers and two
tailpipes. (the same as all of the 210 hp H.O. carb models)

Sounds like Sean's car is one of the early models.
