About the springs....
Previously, it has been stated that on the coupes asc would "Employ
MCLAREN Specific Damper Units & Springs to achieve better cornering &
a softer ride than the TRX System from Ford." I assume that Sandy
has pulled this from a memo somewhere.
It sounds that the reality is that McLaren had nothing to do with
this. Everything seemed to be off the shelf stuff:
T-Bird tie rod tips
Carrera Shocks
M-5300-C Motorsport Spring Kit
Increase Suspension Bushing Durometer
Also, weren't the springs specially designed by asc? So how could
they be in a Motorsport kit.
Just a bit confused. My ignorant statement of the day: What is a
Bushing Durometer anyhow?
