Interesting question, and I wish I knew the answer for you. Mine's
down in storage for the coming winter, so I can't just run outside &
look at it for you. From washing & waxing the car, I seem to recall
that it's on very tight - or tighter than I would expect if it were
just pressed on. It is very rigid. If I get down there, I'll take a
closer look at it & let you know.
