If a judge walked up to my car and called it a POS, it would not
bother me. If
I won a huige Best of Show trophy, I'd like it, be sure of that, but
it would not endear my car to me anymore than right now, without a
Best Of Show trophy! Just how I am.

S A N D YSandy, I agree, I don't need someone else's approval to make my car
mean anything more or less to me. I am starting to get a collection
of Mclarens, that some would consider junk. To me they are gold
mines, I enjoy pulling a car apart and restoring it, thats me, some
would rather buy a car that is mint( now don't get me wrong, I would
buy a mint unrestored Mclaren Capri, if I could find one, and had the
$$$ at the time)thats great for them. I think the idea is to get the
Mclarens out and at the shows, so the general public can see what
craftsmanship went into the cars, and spark their interest. That in
turn may help the awareness of these cars go
up.David
